Epix greenlights Edward Burns' 1980-set dramedy Bridge and Tunnel

The six-episode 1980s-set half-hour dramedy "centers on a group of recent college graduates who set out to pursue their dreams in Manhattan while clinging to the familiarity of their Long Island hometown," per The Hollywood Reporter. "It's familiar territory for Burns, whose films have largely been set in New York City and its suburbs." In addition to writing and directing, Burns will also star in Bridge and Tunnel, which premieres Jan. 24.
