Ellen Barkin calls Captain Kangaroo and Shari Lewis "child-hating frauds"

The Emmy-winning actress was responding to Tom Hanks' Mister Rogers film when she tweeted Monday night: "I’m informing you now...Captain Kangaroo told me to go f*ck myself. Shari Lewis refused to shake the hand of my then 6yo son. Don’t try to make a movie about either of those child-hating frauds." Barkin didn't go into detail about why she hated the two kids' TV icons, but promised she would say more at some point.
