ESPN spent eight months developing Barstool Van Talk with Barstool Sports, only to cancel it after one week

Barstool Sports CEO Erika Nardini offered some detail on the development and the cancelation process of Barstool Van Talk, saying she’s considering shopping the show to another network. “It is disappointing because I think we created a show unlike anything on television and certainly unlike anything on ESPN,” she says. “The numbers last week showed that we could bring a lot of 18 to 34 year olds to watch it which is what they wanted.” ALSO: Barstool president: “ESPN needed us more than we need them.”
