Dynasty casts Elaine Hendrix to take over the Alexis Carrington role from Nicollette Sheridan

Hendrix will reunite with her FX Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll co-star Elizabeth Gillies, who plays Alexis' daughter Fallon, on The CW's Dynasty.   Hendrix will actually be the third person on The CW series to take on the iconic role, which Joan Collins originated in the original Dynasty series. Following Sheridan's abrupt exit earlier this year, Gillies briefly took on the Alexis Carrington role.
