Doom Patrol live-action series is coming to DC's streaming service

Mega DC series producer Greg Berlanti is behind the TV version of Doom Patrol, a superhero team that first appeared in DC Comics in 1963. According to the official description, “Doom Patrol is a re-imagining of one of DC’s most beloved group of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The Doom Patrol’s members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities — but also left them scarred and disfigured." ALSO: Greg Berlanti, who set a record last week with 13 on-air series, now has 14 series.
