Disney+ taps Michael Cimino to play the lead in Love, Simon -- Nick Robinson to return as narrator

Newcomer Cimino will take on the lead role on the TV series take on Love, Simon, playing Victor, "a new student at Creekwood High School on his own journey of self-discovery, facing challenges at home, adjusting to a new city, and struggling with his sexual orientation. When it all seems too much, he reaches out to Simon to help him navigate the ups and downs of high school." He'll be joined by the previously announced Ana Ortiz, who'll play his mom. Additionally, Love, Simon movie star Robinson is on board as narrator.
