Disney+ says a Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode with toned-down graphic violence was mistakenly added to the parental control tier

As first spotted by The Direct, two scenes from Episode 3 of the Marvel series were modified from the original version to tone down graphic violence, including one scene that reduced the amount of blood splatter. The edited version only appears for viewers with Disney+ parental controls. "However," reports io9, "the changes have purportedly been made in error, rather than due to any specific updates to the platform’s filtering process. A Disney+ source confirmed to io9 that the changes to the episode were due to a version control issue uploading a cut of the episode in error, and the streamer is currently in the process of correcting the upload."
