Debra Messing regrets going on Megyn Kelly Today following awkward gay joke

Messing wrote on Instagram that she had no idea until Monday morning that she and her Will & Grace castmates were going on Megyn Kelly’s new show. “The itinerary just said Today Show appearance,” she wrote, adding: “Regret going on. Dismayed by her comments.” Messing was referring to when Kelly asked a Will & Grace superfan, apparently jokingly, ”Is it true you became a lawyer, and you became gay, because of Will?" ALSO: Will & Grace commercials will cost advertisers more than $200,000 per 30-second spot.
