Ellen DeGeneres's daytime talk show earned Daytime Emmy nominations for best talk show in each of its first 18 seasons. But The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been snubbed in the best talk show category for its 19th and final season. The Ellen DeGeneres Show did, however, earn Daytime Emmy nominations for writing and set design. The Ellen DeGeneres Show has received 171 Daytime Emmy nominations and has won 61 Daytime Emmy Awards so far. Last year, The Ellen DeGeneres Show was nominated for best talk show after allegations of misconduct behind the scenes were reported in summer 2020. DeGeneres, whose final The Ellen DeGeneres Show airs on May 26, has not submitted herself for best entertainment talk show host in years.
