Critics Choice Awards finds a new date: March 13, the same day as the BAFTA Awards

The 27th Critics Choice Awards, originally scheduled for Jan. 9 but postponed due to the Omicron surge of COVID-19, has been rescheduled for March 13 at the Fairmont Century Plaza hotel in Century City. But the rescheduled date will force some talent to pick between the Critics Choice Awards and the BAFTAs taking place the same day. Critics Choice Awards president Joey Berlin tells The Hollywood Reporter that there was “literally no other choice” given the calendar. “We have to deliver a three-hour show to The CW on a Sunday,” he explained.
