Conservatives accuse Law & Order: SVU of smearing Convington teen Nicholas Sandmann

This week's SVU episode aired a week after Covington Catholic High School student Sandmann sued NBC Universal for $275 million. In the episode, a group of angry Jewish students, including one named Ari wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat, taunt a Muslim-American councilwoman who resembles Rep. Ilhan Omar. "Much like with the Covington Catholic kids, the situation was a hoax, but in the show the full video doesn’t exculpate Ari’s aggressive and hostile interaction," says the conservative watchdog Media Research Center.
