Common joins Never Have I Ever Season 2 in a recurring role

The Oscar-winning rapper and actor will appear on the Mindy Kaling coming-of-age series after saying he was a fan at the recent SAG Awards. “I loved it,” he said, to which Kaling replied: “That’s amazing! Oscar winner Common is into our show. I wonder if he likes the producers of our show. I can leave now, can take my mic off." Common will play a role specifically written for him: Dr. Chris Jackson, a suave and debonair dermatologist who works in Nalini’s (Poorna Jagannathan) building.
