Chris Wallace on the first Trump-Biden debate: My producer told me over the earpiece to “stop Trump from interrupting Biden!”

The Fox News Sunday anchor was joined by fellow debate moderators Kristen Walker of NBC News and Susan Page of USA Today for a webinar from the George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs. Wallace recalled that when the Trump-Biden flareup began, “My initial reaction was ‘This is great! They’re going to engage with each other!’” He said he soon realized "this is getting out of control.” But he couldn't comply with his producer's request, saying: “What does he expect me to do? Does he expect me to hit a trap door and have the President of the United States go down? There’s not much you can do in that situation.”
