Chris Cuomo recounts seeing his dead father in his second night anchoring his CNN show with coronavirus

On Wednesday's Chris Cuomo Primetime, Dr. Sanjay Gupta urged his CNN colleague to take a day off. “I was worried about that, but Chris, man, you know, we love you, we think about you, and it’s okay to, you know, I know you’re dreaming about this stuff, you’re fully engaged, but it’s okay to take a day off,” the doctor said. On his show, Cuomo described in detail his coronavirus experience the previous night. “This virus came at me — I’ve never seen anything like it, okay?” he explained. “So I’ve had a fever, you’ve had a fever, right? But 102, 103, 103-plus, that wouldn’t quit. It was like somebody was beating me like a pinata. I was shivering so much, that Sanjay’s right, I chipped my tooth. These are not cheap, okay? They call them the rigors, like rigors, r-i-g-o-r-s. But rigors. So the sun comes up. I was up all night. I tell you, I was hallucinating. My dad was talking to me."
