CBS passes on pilots for Jennifer Morrison's Under the Bridge and Sarah Drew's The Republic of Sarah

House alum Morrison's bid to return to the medical drama world has fallen short as CBS has opted not to pick up her pilot, co-starring Justin Kirk. Sarayu Blue, whose I Feel Bad NBC comedy was canceled yesterday, also co-starred in the pilot. For the second year in a row, Grey's Anatomy alum Drew has failed to get a CBS pilot picked up. In The Republic of Sarah, Drew played an unlikely young mayor of a small New Hampshire town that declares itself an independent nation. Last year, CBS passed on her Cagney & Lacey reboot pilot. Drew posted a photos on Instagram of her Republic of Sarah cast, writing "I am truly heart broken about CBS’ decision."
