CBS effectively cancels Wisdom of the Crowd amid Jeremy Piven sexual assault allegations

CBS has opted not to pick up a full season of the freshman crime drama, making a back order decision on its last remaining new fall show. The decision comes five days after a fourth woman came forward to accuse the actor of sexual misconduct. (Piven has denied all allegations, and has reportedly taken and passed a lie detector test.) Wisdom of the Crowd has already aired nine of the 13 episodes ordered. Production is set to wrap on the thirteenth episode in mid-December.
