CBS Television City is expected to be sold to a Los Angeles investor for more than $700 million

CBS has found a winning bidder for its historic studio complex in Los Angeles real estate investment firm Hackman Capital Partners. CBS Television City has been home to everything from The Carol Burnett Show to All in the Family to American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, The Price is Right and The Late Late Show with James Corden. The Los Angeles Times reports that CBS is expected to operate the 25-acre studio as a tenant once the deal is done. The deal has not yet to be completed. Part of the site may be used to build housing.
