Brad Paisley is set to to star in a Larry Sanders-like comedy for Amazon

The Grammy-winning country music singer-songwriter is set to star in and executive produce Fish Out of Water, which Amazon has given a script commitment to following a bidding war with other outlets. Will Arnett will serve as an executive producer with former Jimmy Fallon writer A.D. Miles penning the script. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the potential comedy is described as "a Larry Sanders take on celebrity vanity projects and a behind-the-scenes look at country music star Paisley's struggle to keep a simple little fishing show from turning into his own personal Fyre Festival." Paisley is no stranger to sitcoms, having previously guest-starred on Two and a Half Men, King of the Hill and three episodes of According to Jim.
