Bodyguard's Keeley Hawes recalls meeting her real-life counterpart

It's widely believed that Hawes' British home secretary character was based on the real-life former Home Secretary Amber Rudd. Hawes recalled on The Graham Norton Show bumping into Rudd: "I was in a restaurant, and I thought, 'Oh god, Amber Rudd is over there!' I carried on, I was having lunch with my husband. As she got up to leave, (she just said), 'Keeley!' That's all! It was very odd!"
