Bob Saget's star-studded Comedy Store memorial service will become a Netflix special

Mike Binder, who directed Showtime's 2020 The Comedy Store docuseries, put together the January tribute to Saget featuring Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, John Stamos, Jeff Ross, John Mayer and more big names. The memorial service was filmed as a special that will join Netflix in June. “It was a magical night,” Binder told the Dystopia Tonight with John Poveromo podcast. “And we filmed it. And I showed it to Netflix. I said ‘Look at this! Just look at 16 minutes of this.’ And Robbie Craw, the head of comedy at Netflix, he just said ‘This is remarkable.’ And they bought it as a special.”
