Big Brother will finally try a celebrity edition

There have been 20 seasons of Celebrity Big Brother in Britain since 2001, yet CBS hasn’t tackled the format. That will change this winter when CBS airs a shortened star-studded edition. “We have discussed it as far back as season 2,” says Julie Chen. “And then again about a year or two ago, but the economics didn’t make sense then. We found a way to make it work, and that’s all I can say!”
