Bette Midler: Geraldo Rivera still hasn’t apologized for groping me

Midler called the 1991 video that resurfaced yesterday in wake of Rivera defending Matt Lauer “a gift from the universe.” In the interview, she describes to Barbara Walters how Rivera and his producer allegedly drugged and groped her in the 1970s. “Tomorrow is my birthday,” Midler tweeted. “I feel like this video was a gift from the universe to me. Geraldo may have apologized for his tweets supporting Matt Lauer, but he has yet to apologize for this.”
