Apple’s Amazing Stories loses Bryan Fuller and Bones creator Hart Hanson over creative differences

Fuller, who has been attached to The Amazing Stories revival since October 2015 when it was on NBC, wanted to do a darker, Black Mirror-style version of the Steven Spielberg 1980s series. Apple didn’t like that idea, so Fuller and Hanson, partners on the project, have decided to part amicably. This marks yet another TV series exit for Fuller, who was dumped from Star Trek: Discovery and American Gods. Fuller will now turn his attention on Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles.
