Another My 600-lb Life star dies: James King is the fifth person from the TLC reality show to die in 2-and-half years

King, who last appeared on the TLC reality show in 2018, died Friday after recent hospitalizations. "TLC was deeply saddened by the loss of James King, who shared his weight-loss journey on My 600lb Life," the network said in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time." King is the fifth My 600-Lb Life star to die in recent years. Robert Buchel died in November 2017. L.B. Bonner committed suicide in August 2018. Lisa Fleming died weeks later. And Sean Milliken died in February 2019.
