Amy Heckerling's daughter responds to Chris Kattan's allegation against Lorne Michaels of sexual coercion

Mollie Heckerling says her mom doesn't want to speak out about Kattan's allegation that Lorne Michaels pressed him to have sex with her to help get A Night at the Roxbury made. “This is all kind of a mess and I feel bad for multiple reasons about it — especially since I am a die hard supporter of MeToo and definitely don’t want to seem insensitive to so many people’s accounts of sexual misconduct," she said in a statement to Vulture, adding: “I really wish Lorne Michaels would step forward.” In a lengthy statement posted to Twitter, Mollie Heckerling wrote that Kattan didn't become involved with her mom until after the film started shooting.
