Amazon picks up Asian-American comedy Nancy Wu Done It co-written by Jessica Henwick

Iron Fist and Game of Thrones alum Henwick is teaming with former The Flash writer Kai Yu Wu on a show descried as a mashup of Pleasantville and Nancy Drew. The pair will serve as writers and executive producers. "The story follows a frustrated Asian American female YA author who suddenly finds herself transported into one of her own books," per Deadline. "As a result, she must work with the titular character she created — who she now hates — to solve an unfinished mystery."
