The Marc Cherry CBS All Access drama is one of those shows that started off disappointingly yet managed to become more compelling with each episode. "I found myself not just looking forward to future episodes, but outright jonesing for them, pouncing on them almost the minute they became available—especially the finale," says Gwen Ihnat, who initially found that Why Women Kill botched one of Cherry's major strengths. "Fortunately, it answered all the questions raised in the pilot in a thoroughly satisfying manner, weaving these disparate timelines together."
