Actor playing Bobby Brown in BET miniseries says despite his warts-and-all portrayal, he received the singer’s blessing

The Bobby Brown Story's Woody McClain, a professional dancer who has performed with Brown, says all the controversies will be explored, including the singer’s trouble with drugs, his kinky love life, his problems with Whitney Houston and the death of daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. “We go all the way — anything it takes to get the job done that is what we are going to do,” McClain said of the follow-up to The New Edition Story. “Viewers will be so shocked. We are talking about everything we know and everything we don’t know.”
