AT&T says it's not planning to sell DirecTV

“DirecTV is an important part of what we’re going to be doing going forward,” WarnerMedia CEO John Stankey told The Wall Street Journal. He added that DirecTV will have an important role in the launch of HBO Max. Stankey also told the newspaper he had no plans to give up his job as WarnerMedia CEO, despite reports earlier today that CNN president Jeff Zucker was the internal frontrunner for his job.
