ABC boss would like to have a Modern Family spinoff starring Sarah Hyland

ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke says co-creator Steven Levitan doesn't want to discuss a Modern Family spinoff right now. “I get smacked down every time I bring it up to Steve Levitan, so I’m going to stay quiet for a little while,” she told Deadline. “They’ve just started production on the final season — I was at the first table read last week, which was so great, and I’m going to let them focus on that.” Burke said Hyland's Haley Dunphy, her on-again-off-again boyfriend Dylan, played by Reid Ewing, and their baby would make for a perfect spinoff.
