A live-action teenage Dora the Explorer movie is in the works from Michael Bay

The action filmmaker is teaming with Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Neighbors director Nick Stoller on a big-screen version of Dora. Unlike the children's TV show, where Dora is a 7-year-old girl, the film will follow Dora as a teenager who moves to the city to live with her cousin Diego. The film is expected to be released in 2019.
