A Match.com origin series is in the works at TBS from Silicon Valley creators

John Altschuler and David Krinsky, who co-created HBO's Silicon Valley with Mike Judge, have received a pilot script order for the Match.com series based on David Kushner's novel The Players Ball: A Genius, a Con Man, and the Secret History of the Internet’s Rise, which was released earlier this year. According to Variety, The Players Ball "tells the story of the incredible battle between the founder of Match.com and the con man who swindled him out of the website Sex.com, resulting in an all-out war for the control of love and sex on the internet." Kushner will also serve as an executive producer.
