A Child's Play movie reboot won't stop plans for a TV version of the horror franchise

MGM announced earlier this week it is rebooting the Child's Play movie franchise with a "technologically advanced" killer doll. When asked if this will affect plans for a Child's Play TV series, franchise creator Don Mancini said: “We’re still working on the series and also plan to continue the film franchise with Universal. We intend to stay true to the universe we’ve created.”
