Wall to Wall is a mystery-thriller film from South Korea that was written and directed by Kim Tae-joon. The story based on Kim's original script, takes place in Seoul and shows the realities of living in cramped apartments and facing financial difficulty. The film was released in the United States on Netflix on July 18, 2025, marking its global debut on the platform.
The story revolves around Noh Woo-sung (Kang Ha-neul), who uses his life savings and even his mother's garlic farm to purchase an 84-square-meter apartment in the heart of Seoul's exorbitant real estate market. After being thrilled at first, he is soon plagued by constant noise from above and below, which causes him to go bankrupt and mentally collapse.
Woo-sung discovers a mysterious conspiracy involving neighbors, including journalist Jin-ho (Seo-Hyun-woo) and the penthouse's Eun-hwa (Yeom-Hye-ran), as paranoia grows. The film transitions from claustrophobic dread to startling revelations about corruption, surveillance, and violence motivated by desperation.
Kang Ha-neul plays Noh Woo-sung, a hardworking 30-something office worker whose ambition of purchasing an 84-square-meter flat in Seoul turns into a nightmare. He sold his mother's garlic crop, borrowed money, and used all of his savings to pay for it. After moving in, Woo-sung is plagued by constant, enigmatic noise from nearby floors, which causes him to slide into debt, insomnia, and confrontation with other neighbors. As his financial and mental health decline, he joins forces with his neighbor Jin-ho to uncover a sinister plot connected to the building's elite, which forces him to face corruption, betrayal, and his own eroding sanity.
Kang Ha-neul was born on February 21, 1990 in South Korea. Some of his best work are Squid Game (2024-25), Streaming (2025), and Love Reset (2023).

His intentions, however, become darker as the narrative progresses; it becomes clear that he is intentionally causing the unrest in order to exact revenge on Eun-hwa, the influential penthouse occupant, whom he believes is responsible for stifling his previous exposé.
Seo Hyun-woo is known for his work in shows such as Our Movie (2025), The Fiery Priest (2019-24), and Seoul Busters (2024).

She appears helpful while secretly promoting real estate interests and maintaining property prices.
