Jeopardy! Goes Primetime, Netflix Bows Love is Blind: Japan

    ABC is counter-programming the Winter Olympics with Jeopardy's first-ever primetime National College Championship, hosted by Mayim Bialik. The event series kicks off with the first of nine hour-long episodes tonight. Also today: Love is Blind: Japan hits Netflix, Olympic skiing and snowboarding receive top billing on NBC, and Ms. Pat opens up about her past in Y’All Wanna Hear Something Crazy?, her first hour-long Netflix special. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Tuesday:

    Jeopardy! National College Championship: Series premiere. Students from 15 colleges and universities battle head-to-head for a chance to win a $100,000 grand prize. Episodes will air Tuesday-Friday through February 22. With host Mayim Bialik. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on ABC

    Love is Blind: Japan: Series premiere. Netflix brings its hit social experiment to Japan as Japanese singles look to turn their blind emotional connections into true love before their wedding day. Five episodes drop today, followed by four more next Tuesday, and the final two episodes on February 22. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    Super Bowl Greatest Commercials: All Time Classics: Special presentation. CBS Sports analyst Boomer Esiason and Daniela Ruah (NCIS: Los Angeles) host this interactive special. As the two count down ten classic commercials, viewers can vote for their favorite; the winner will be revealed at the end of the broadcast. 8:00 PM ET on CBS

    Finding Your Roots: New episode. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. sits down with Terry Crews and Tony Danza, who discover that they aren’t the first in their families to overcome adversity. 8:00 PM ET on PBS

    The Real Dirty Dancing: New episode. The celebrity contestants must recreate the famous maracas scene from Dirty Dancing. Later, host tWitch throws the dancers a curveball, and one couple’s journey comes to an end. 9:00 PM ET on FOX
