CBS Gets Back to Reality with Big Brother and Love Island Premieres

    Reality summer officially arrives tonight with back-to-back premieres of Big Brother Season 23 and Love Island Season 3. Big Brother is shaking things up this year by dividing its all-new group of Houseguests up into teams, while Love Island heads to the Hawaiian Islands for more fun in the sun.

    Also today: Disney+ expands the Monsters-verse with spinoff series Monsters at Work, Netflix pits Cat People against Dog lovers, and Married at First Sight takes viewers inside the matchmaking process in a pre-season special. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Wednesday:

    Big Brother: Season premiere. 16 new Houseguests move into the freshly redesigned house and prepare to be separated into teams in the 90-minute Season 23 premiere. New episodes will air Sundays and Wednesdays, with a live eviction show Thursdays. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on CBS

    Love Island: Season premiere. A new group of singles heads to the sun-drenched Hawaiian Islands as the dating competition series kicks off its third season. Following the 90-minute premiere tonight, the show will air five days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday nights. Watch preview. 9:30 PM ET on CBS

    Monsters at Work: Series premiere. A host of new characters join Sulley (John Goodman) and Mike (Billy Crystal) in this spinoff series that picks up after the original Monsters, Inc. movie. Two episodes stream today, with new episodes dropping Wednesdays through August. Watch trailer. Streaming on Disney+

    NHL Stanley Cup Finals: The Tampa Bay Lightning attempt to win their second consecutive Stanley Cup as the series with the Montreal Canadiens heads into Game 5. 8:00 PM ET on NBC

    The Good, The Bart, and The Loki: Disney is bringing together two of its most recognizable IP for a new Marvel-themed Simpsons short featuring Tom Hiddleston as the voice of Loki. Streaming on Disney+

    Cat People: Complete first season. Cat lovers and their feline friends take center stage in this Netflix docuseries about the unique bond between man and animal. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    Married at First Sight: Matchmaking in Houston: Special presentation. Ahead of the Season 13 premiere on July 21, the MAFS experts provide an in-depth look at the matchmaking process and interview vulnerable singles searching for love. 8:00 PM ET on Lifetime

    Marvel Studio Legends: Black Widow: Go behind the scenes of Marvel’s latest action flick in a new installment of Disney's all-access series. Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow debuts in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access this Friday, July 9. Streaming on Disney+

    Look-a-Like Love: Special presentation. As four eccentric individuals transform their bodies to look like their celebrity obsessions, their partners must decide whether to buy into the fantasy. 10:00 PM ET on Lifetime
