The Amazing Race Doubles Our Pleasure With Two Back-to-Back Episodes

    Editor's Note: As of Wednesday afternoon, it wasn't clear how much of tonight's regular programing would be pre-empted for continuing election coverage. NBC has already announced that its planned American Ninja Warrior finale will move to Friday night, and likely other shows will follow.

    As Primetimer's Joe Reid writes today, the pre-pandemic world of this season's Amazing Race may be the most comforting of TV comfort foods. As if on cue, CBS is offering up two back-to-back episodes when we need it most. Also today: American Ninja Warriors names its Season 12 champion, Group C returns to The Masked Singer stage, and both Jackie and Darlene face workplace challenges on The Conners. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Wednesday:

    BACK-TO-BACK EPISODES: The fourth and fifth legs of this season's The Amazing Race are set to bring the remaining teams to Asunción, Paraguay and Paris, France. Watch preview8:00 PM ET on CBS

    SEASON FINALE: The truncated twelfth season of American Ninja Warrior comes to a close tonight, with the top eight Ninjas racing side by side on the Power Tower. 9:00 PM ET on NBC
