Scorsese's The Irishman Lands on Netflix in Record Time

Netflix continues to rewrite the rules with its biggest original film to date, Martin Scorsese's The Irishman. When the streamer announced that it intended to make the film available for streaming less than a month after its theatrical debut, the major theater chains all cried foul, refusing to screen the film unless the streamer respected the traditional theatrical window of at least 60 days. Netflix stuck to its guns, and having played in limited theatrical release for 27 days, the film makes its streaming debut today. Also today: a special holiday installment of Ellen's Game of Games, classic Thanksgiving-themed skits from SNL, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. and more.
