Dolly Parton is having a moment. (But, really, when hasn't she?) Hot on the heels for her hosting stint at last month's CMA's and the release of Dolly Parton's Heartstrings on Netflix, NBC is airing a special celebrating her 50th year as a member of Grand Ole Opry. Not only will Parton herself deliver some of her bigest hits in front of a live audience, but country music superstars new and old will on hand to celebrate Parton's career and perform. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Tuesday:
SPECIAL PRESENTATION: Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Emmylou Harris and Hank Williams Jr. are among the big names taking the stage for Dolly Parton: 50 Years at the Grand Ole Opry, but the biggest name is of course Parton herself. 9:00 PM ET on NBC
COMEDY SPECIAL: After a three month run on Broadway (and a subsequent national tour), Mike Birbiglia: The New One lands on Netflix. The king of the one man show, Birbiglia chronicles his life as a very nervous new dad in his Drama Desk Award-winnning performance. Watch the preview. Streaming on Netflix
LIVE ELIMINATIONS SHOW: It's that time of the week again on The Voice, with nine performers getting the all clear, while two will have to face off for an instant save and the chance to move on in the competition. 8:00 PM ET on NBC
DOCUMENTARY: The documentary Lindsey Vonn: The Final Season follows the accomplished competitive skier as she attempts to break the record for most World Cup wins. Watch the preview. 10:00 PM ET on HBO
