Vice TV announces Too Soon: Comedy After 9/11 documentary

Too Soon will explore how comedians tackled comedy in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Too Soon gets its title from Gilbert Gottfried's 9/11 jokes at the Roast of Hugh Hefner that was taped weeks after the 2001 attacks. Gottfried will appear in the documentary along with David Cross, Marc Maron, Nathan Lane, Janeane Garofalo, Matthew Broderick, Aasif Mandvi, Rob Riggle, Cedric the Entertainer, Chris Kattan, Lewis Black and Doug Stanhope. Too Soon: Comedy After 9/11 premieres Sept. 8.
