Top Gear is getting another U.S. reboot

Top Gear America (working title) is expected to premiere next year on the MotorTrend app, thanks to a new partnership between the MotorTrend Group and BBC Studios. The new series aims to offer “a fresh, uniquely American take on the classic Top Gear format." This will be third stab at an American version of Top Gear. Adam Ferrara and Tanner Foust hosted the first American Top Gear on History channel from 2010 to 2016, while William Fichtner, Tom Ford and Antron Brown hosted Top Gear America on BBC America in 2017. As part of the MotorTrend deal, more than 200 classic Top Gear episodes will be made available on MotorTrend's app.
