The Middle spinoff adds Sue Heck's best friend and reveals its title: Sue Sue in the City

Eden Sher's Sue Heck spinoff will have two "Sues" in the title because she was born "Sue Sue." Additionally, Sue's best friend Brad Bottig, played by Brock Ciarlelli, will join her on the spinoff. Ciarlelli appeared in 56 episodes of The Middle, or a little more than a quarter of its 215 episodes. His character came out as gay midway through the show's run. The spinoff will focus on Sue's ups and downs as she leaves Orson, Indiana for young adulthood and a career in Chicago.
