Sebastian Maniscalco to host MTV VMAs

The Italian-American comedian and actor was named Billboard "Comedian of the Year" last year after releasing his bestselling memoir Stay Hungry. Maniscalco appeared in last year's Oscar Best Picture-winning film Green Book and will also have a role in Martin Scorsese's The Irishman. Next month, Maniscalco will appear on Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee for the second time. “We’re thrilled to have the incredibly talented Sebastian Maniscalco as this year’s VMA host,” says Bruce Gillmer, executive producer of the VMAs. “Sebastian is on fire right now and his comedic spin on relatable topics will make this year’s show truly unforgettable.”
