Paulson tells Jimmy Kimmel that rejection happened years before she and Perry co-starred on NBC's 2006-2007 Aaron Sorkin drama Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. They were both in attendance at a party thrown by Fisher at late author Gore Vidal’s house. “There was a hat with names in it, and you were supposed to make out with whomever’s name you pulled out of the hat,” Paulson said. “Matthew Perry pulled my name out of the hat and then promptly left the room.”
