RuPaul apologized for his comments in The Guardian in March after saying, “you can identify as a woman and say you’re transitioning, but it changes once you start changing your body. It takes on a different thing; it changes the whole concept of what we’re doing.” Season 4 of Drag Race All Stars will feature Gia Gunn, who since appearing on Drag Race has come out as trans and begun transitioning.
