Netflix renews Another Life for Season 2

The Katee Sackhoff-led space drama has been given a 10-episode Season 2 pickup. "I have the most exciting news! Another Life is coming back for Season 2 on @Netflix!" Sackhoff captioned a Twitter video compilation of her castmates saying "two." Production on the second season will begin in 2020 in Vancouver, but a premiere date has yet to be set. The renewal comes three months after Another Life premiered to mostly negative reviews. "There's really no other way around this — the work on Another Life is not good," wrote Tim Goodman in The Hollywood Reporter. "The writing is atrocious, leaving the actors to follow a jumble of disconnected emotions or pointless journeys within their characters (or maybe they were just looking to escape) and the directing is... off."
