The PBS documentary film Mae West: Dirty Blonde, produced by Bette Midler, looks at how the iconic and groundbreaking classic film actress took sledgehammer to outdated views of women and sexuality on screen. But the documentary, premiering Tuesday, is not nearly as juicy as West's 1959 autobiography Goodness Had Nothing to Do with It.
