Tuesday's episode was shockingly the first SVU to have the title "Revenge," notes Kathryn VanArendonk. She adds: "SVU does at least have the grace to suggest that its crack squad of culturally cognizant sex crime investigators have heard of incels before. Once they make the connection, they’re on relatively firm footing about what an incel is: guys who are mad because they’re 'not getting any,' Detective Carisi explains."
