Kenya Barris will focus on contemporary relationships for his first Paramount+ series

“The first series I will be involved with, we are taking an intimate look at contemporary relationships,” said the Black-ish creator at ViacomCBS' Wednesday streaming event. “We will explore the complicated, ever changing boundaries and sometime racy dynamics that have shaped and redefined what modern love is.” Barris left his lucrative Netflix deal early last year for a production venture with ViacomCBS.
