Hasan Minhaj demands Asians step up to fight anti-black racism amid George Floyd protests

In a 12-minute "digital exclusive" Patriot Act monologue reacting to the George Floyd killing and protests, Minhaj targeted anti-black racism in other minority communities, including among Asian-American. Minhaj noted that the store owner who called police on Floyd was Arab-American and the indicted cop standing nearby blocking off witnesses is Hmong-American. "That is America," he said. "A black man was murdered in cold blood, and we were on the f*cking sidelines watching," said Minhaj, calling for non-black people of color to step up. "I'm not saying we were the ones who killed George Floyd. But we have to be the ones who pull that cop off his neck!"
